Voilence In Karachi Claims More Lives

   The wave of violence continued for the third consecutive day in the metropolis as 25 more people have been killed in various incidents including attacks on buses.   Death toll has reached to 63 in ongoing violent incidents during the last three days.
   Firing incidents began on Tuesday in Qasba Colony which spread to Orangi town and Kati Pahari with the clash between the two groups.   Clashes between the groups, arson incidents, attacks on houses remained continued in Orangi town, Kati Pahari and Qasba Colony areas on third day where 5-year old girl Laiba, Zohaib Ali (25), Zahid Ali, Tanveer Ahmed and Alamgir were killed while a woman and a child among two dozen received injuries.
   Violent incidents paralysed life in Orangi town, Aligarh Colony, Qasba Colony, Bukhari Colony, Muslimabad, Kati Pahari and adjoining towns. Clashes between two groups have spread to Baldia Town, Rashidabad among various other areas of the city.   On Thursday evening, armed men opened fire at passenger bus near Metro Cinema killing three people and injuring eight others.
   Two buses were also attacked near Banaras bridge in which seven people were killed while fifteen others sustained injuries.   Meanwhile, armed men open indiscriminate firing in Hariana area of Orangi town which killed three people and injured several others.
   Baldia Town office was also attacked with hand grenade.
   Firing incidents were also reported in Sher Shah, North Nazimabad, North Karachi, Shah Faisal Colony, Malir among various other areas.
