Hunger In Pakistan And Forex Reserves Both Climb To Record Level

   Government feels glad when begging from World Bank, IMF, Asian Development Bank or from USA is received and foreign exchange reserves are raised. It is of course, necessary to have enough foreign exchange to meet the import expenses, but our people know how these are spent. Luxury foreign though unnecessary officially,  tours of the kings, ministers  and other bureaucracy are facilitated through the reserves the good news of which is given to public monthly. Common people are deprived of bread and other necessary item of daily use, if available are out of the reach of the poor.. Now the statement of state bank:--     
The amount of foreign exchange reserves of the country has crossed 18 billion dollars which are sufficient for six months’ imports, it was reported Thursday.   Spokesman State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Syed Wasimuddin said the foreign exchange reserves during the week ended on July 2 increased by 77.6 million dollars to hit a record level at 18.247 billion dollars.
   The increase is mainly attributed to the assistance of 41.1 million dollars received from Asian Development Bank (ADB) and World Bank (WB).
  The foreign exchange held by SBP stands at 14.78 billion dollars while 3.46 billion dollars are with the commercial bank.
