Actress Lindsay Lohan Released From Home Detention

Actress Lindsay Lohan was released from home detention on Wednesday after spending 35 days at her Los Angeles apartment for stealing a gold necklace, authorities said.
A private company that handles monitoring equipment for home detention inmates removed the electronic ankle bracelet from the “Mean Girls” star on Wednesday morning, said Steve Whitmore, a spokesman for the Sheriff’s Department.
Lohan was sentenced in May to 120 days in jail, but the 24 year-old actress qualified for a shorter period of house arrest under programs for nonviolent offenders and to reduce overcrowding in Los Angeles jails.
Lohan, a former child star, pleaded no contest in May to the theft of a $2,500 gold necklace from a Los   Angeles boutique. She had walked out of the store wearing the jewelry.
Her once promising Hollywood career has been derailed because of repeated run-ins with the law and trips to rehabilitation to deal with drug and alcohol problems.
Nevertheless, she is due to start filming a movie about New York crime boss John Gotti later this year with co-stars John Travolta and Al Pacino.

Death Toll From Killer E.coli Raised To 50 In Western Countries

The death toll from a killer E. coli outbreak centred in Germany has raised to 50 with another death in Germany and one in the United States, health authorities said Thursday.  A 74-year-old woman died in Germany's northern Hanover region on Wednesday from haemolytic uraemic syndrome (HUS), a kidney complaint caused by the enterohaemorrhagic E. coli (EHEC) bacterium, local health official Nils Meyer said.
The World Health Organisation (WHO), meanwhile, confirmed that a person who died of HUS in the United States had been infected with the same strain of EHEC.  All but two of the EHEC fatalities have so far been in Germany, apart from the new US case and a woman who died in Sweden shortly after returning from a visit to Germany.
WHO said 4,050 infections have been confirmed in 14 European countries, the United States and Canada -- more than 3,900 of them in Germany.
The outbreak has been blamed on organic vegetable sprouts.

US Neither Vacates Shamsi Air base Nor Stops Drone Attacks

The United States is rejecting demands from Pakistani officials that American personnel abandon a military base used by the CIA to stage drone strikes against suspected militants, US officials told..
US personnel have not left the remote Pakistani military installation known as Shamsi Air Base and there is no plan for them to do so, said a US official familiar with the matter, who asked for anonymity to discuss sensitive material. "That base is neither vacated nor being vacated," the official said. The information was confirmed by a second US official.
Earlier this week, Defense Minister Ahmed Mukhtar told the Financial Times that Pakistan had already stopped US drone operations there.  On Thursday, Mukhtar told a news agency: "When they (US forces) will not operate from there, no drone attacks will be carried out. "He said Islamabad had been pressuring the US to vacate the base even before the May 2 commando raid in which US Navy SEAL commandos killed Osama bin Laden. After the raid, Mukhtar said, "We told them again."A senior Pakistani military official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, added that when US forces first launched counter-terrorism operations in Afghanistan, Pakistan "provided Americans two bases in Jacobabad and Shamsi. Jacobabad base has been vacated for long time ago, but Shamsi is still with them."  "They are vacating it," the official insisted. "Shamsi base was for logistic purpose. They also used it for drones for some time but no drones have been flown from there."

Anti_austerity Protesters Sprayed Tear By Greek Police

Greek police sprayed tear gas on indignant protesters Tuesday as a general strike against the bankruptcy-threatened government set the stage for a defining vote in the Greek parliament.  But European Union slap downs and a call by new IMF chief Christine Lagarde for lawmakers to drop opposition and save Greece's "destiny" fed rising belief on the streets of Athens that the austerity measures were inevitable.
Nearly 10,000 demonstrated outside the parliament where Prime Minister George Papandreou hopes on Wednesday to win lawmakers' backing for a 28.4-billion-euro ($40.8 billion) package of tax grabs, spending cuts and sell-offs demanded by creditors to avoid bankruptcy. "We don't want your money Europe," Iamando, 36, told AFP on Syntagma Square. "Leave us alone -- please, please, please."  "Even the Turks never imposed this volume of taxes on us," added 70-year-old ex-sailor Panayotis Bakossis.
The launch of a 48-hour general strike Tuesday brought about a blanket power cut and transport came to a standstill in the Greek capital.  Police said 21 officers were hurt in the clashes but made only a dozen or so arrests despite firebombs setting property ablaze and protesters smashing up the marble steps of a luxury hotel facing the legislature, to use as missiles.
EU president Herman Van Rompuy called on Greece's 300-seat parliament -- where Prime Minister George Papandreou has a five-seat majority -- to take a decision "crucial for the Greek people, but also for the eurozone and the stability of the world economy."  Other Brussels officials sent out similar messages, before French finance minister Christine Lagarde was named the new head of the International Monetary Fund and immediately urged the Greek opposition "to join in national unity." "The country's destiny is at stake," Lagarde said in a French television interview. "I think that at this moment they need to put aside their major political differences."
Unions meanwhile plunged Athens into a communications dark age for 80 minutes Tuesday, in protest at what may prove the most difficult measure to drive through in parliament -- the sale of part of the government's holding in Greece's national electricity company.  During the day police had flooded the area of the demonstrations with 4,000 officers, some in full anti-riot gear and arriving in battle-buses equipped with water cannon. "They attacked us on June 15, but we fought back and we will do the same again," said Felipe, a 23-year-old student of Spanish origin in the 'indignants' camp that has taken over the central Athens square that houses the parliament for the last seven weeks."We're like the donkey the more you hit it, the more determined it gets," maintained Omiros (Homer), 29.
In a rare criticism of the government, the governor of the Bank of Greece, Giorgos Provopoulos, told an influential Greek daily that "piling more taxes on taxpayers has reached its limit."  But Greek stocks closed well up, and even the protesters made stoical noises as night fell. A 28-year-old woman, Maria, eyes streaming, bemoaned "a modern-day war, they are seizing our land... and they will sell everything."
Approval of the austerity measures by lawmakers, set to start voting on Wednesday early afternoon, would unblock 12 billion euros of emergency loans from last year's 110-billion-euro bailout.  That would then free eurozone finance ministers to start drawing up a second bailout for perhaps as much again as last year's 110-billion rescue, at talks Sunday in Brussels.
But even a former IMF board member, economist Miranda Xafa of Geneva-based investment managers IJ Partners, fears the plan is deeply flawed. n the last year, 250,000 people lost their jobs in the private sector and none in the public sector," she told AFP.
"Now the country is bankrupt so it has no choice," she said.

Untouchable Community In India

India, the country of traditions, cultures and customs, once had burning of widows (Satti) with the husband's dead body and prohibition of widows second marriage , parts of religion, but "satti" tradition was banned by Britisher rulers and second marriage tradition ended with passage of time. In no religion traditions like this are found and no part of religion can be demolished with changing of the attitides of people or with new age norms. The women folk in India has been treated like animals in the past, they were tortured and all the cruelities were fate of women by the men. But, now with the new age women in India are enjoying many facilities like in politics, there are several women on high status offices.  The president of India, Patel is woman, the actual prime minister Sonia Gandhi, speaker of parliament Mera Kumari, the leader of the opposition Sashma Soraj,  it does not end here the cheif ministers of the four important provinces are women, Uttar Pradesh (Maya Vatti), Bengal ( Mamta Banerji), Tamil Nadi (Ja Lalita), and Delhi ( Sheela Dickshet all are women.
Recently, Mamta Banerhi diminished the government of leftists who were in power for the last 34 years, in Bengal. Leftists coulkd win only 62 seats. It is worth mentioning that Mamta Banerji did not come in power through caste or sectarian grounbds but she won the power with the favor of the masses. Maya Vatii is  prominent from other three women as she does not belong to Brahmin caste but is among untouchables.  Though Mera Kumari is not from Brahman caste too but she is the daughter of former Vice Prime Minister and belongs to a rich family. However, Maya Vatti, an untouchable one is from shoe maker family. Untouchables who can not pass by Brahmans, can not drink or eat where Brahman's do. They can not shake hands with Brahmans. Their shadow can not be tolerated by Barahmans , otherwise Barmans haveto take Bath.  Maya Vatti from that caste is the Cheif Minister of Uttar Pradesh province of India. Her life struggle is full of commitments, struggle for the cause and devotion.. She is an example of  sacrifices and determinations.

Majority Of Americans Are In Favor Of Forces Pullout From Afghanistan

While the bulk of Americans want to see U.S. forces leave Afghanistan, slight majorities have expressed disapproval with the withdrawal timetable and would prefer it to occur at a more rapid clip, according to a survey.
U.S. President Barack Obama last week announced the removal of 10,000 U.S. troops from Afghanistan this year and an additional 23,000 troops next year in a decision that reflects Americans' weariness with a conflict that has lasted nearly a decade.
Americans broadly support Obama's drawdown plan, with 72 percent favoring the move and 23 percent opposed, the Gallup poll found.
The same survey, however, found that six in 10 Americans disagree with the president's timetable for reducing U.S. troop presence in the war-torn country. A third of participants believe troops should be pulled out sooner, 30 percent endorse Obama's schedule and 31 percent are opposed to any timetable.
That reaction could reflect respondents' views on the pace of troop withdrawal as well as their perceptions about the impact that announcing a timetable could have on the U.S. war effort, Gallup said.
Democrats are the most supportive of Obama's timetable, but fewer than half, or 45 percent, agree with it, while 40 percent believe U.S. forces should leave sooner.
The slight majority of Republicans, or 54 percent, said no timetable should be set, while the rest are evenly divided between agreeing with Obama's timetable (19 percent) and wanting an accelerated pullout (20 percent), Gallup said.
The slight majority of Democrats, or 57 percent, said the 30,000 figure is about right. But in line with vocal criticism of the plan from House Minority Leader Republican Nancy Pelosi and other congressional Democrats who want a more aggressive drawdown, 30 percent called it too low, Gallup found.
Independents' reactions are more closely divided: 40 percent called it about right, 33 percent said it was too low, and 18 percent said it is too high. Republicans are the most fractured of all, with about a third saying the withdrawal figure is about right, a third calling it too high, and 20 percent saying it is too low, Gallup reported.

NASA Managers Cleared Space Shuttle Atlantis For July 8 Launch

NASA managers cleared space shuttle Atlantis on Tuesday for a July 8 launch, approving it for a cargo run to the International Space Station and the final flight in the 30-year-old shuttle program.  Lift-off of the shuttle manned by a minimal crew of four astronauts is set for 11:26 a.m. EDT from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
The 12-day flight was added to the shuttle's schedule last year to buy time in case NASA's newly hired cargo delivery companies have problems getting their spacecraft into orbit.  Atlantis will be delivering a year's worth of food, clothing, science equipment and supplies to the orbital outpost, a $100 billion project of 16 nations that circles 220 miles above Earth. "This flight is incredibly important to the space station. The cargo that is coming up on this flight is really mandatory," said NASA's spaceflight chief Bill Gerstenmaier.
Earlier on Tuesday, the threat of an orbital debris impact interrupted the station's preparations for Atlantis' visit. NASA learned that an unidentified piece of space debris was likely to pass close to the station and told the crew to seek shelter in the station's two Russian Soyuz escape capsules.
Typically, the station maneuvers to avoid potential debris impacts, but the notice came just 14 hours before the closest approach, too late to plan and conduct an avoidance maneuver.

Pakistan Has To Leave Kashmir For India ---Manmohan Singh

The day had to come when Pakistanis had to listen from Indian Prime Minister that Pakistan must "Do More" and leave Kashmir. This is due to faulty foreign policies of the government, flattering of India all the time instead of deceived by India several times through fake dialogues, now India has shown its real face. Why Manmohan do not ask Afghanistan to stop terrorism with in Pakistani borders from other sideof the borders. Terrorists attacked several time Pakistani villages in Mohmand agency andBajuar and killed innocent people. Can not Manmohan see these activities? And he asks Pakistan to do more?
Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has said that Pakistan has not done enough to tackle terrorism, urging the neighbouring country to do more.
Indian PM termed the engagement with Pakistan a commitment to shared geography.   Talking to the group of local editors, Manmohan said "Engagement is a commitment to our shared geography. They (Pakistan) have not done enough on terror. I still feel they need to do more."Commenting on the situation in Kashmir, Indian PM hoped that Pakistan "will leave Kashmir alone," because "they have their own share of internal problems."He also said the withdrawal of the US forces from Afghanistan can hurt India and expressed concern over the possibility of terror outfits like Haqqani group figuring in the Taliban reconciliation process.

Yemen Will Journey With out Saleh?

An high ranking officialk of Saudi Arabia said that Saleh Abdullah's health was recovering in Riyadh's hospital but, he would return to his country back. However, it has not been decided that where would he stay. It seems that Saleh may leave Saudi Arabia for any third country. However, the Saudi Arabian official did not tell whether it was Saleh's own derision not to return to his country or there were some other factors behind the curtain.  On other side Yemeni government has announced that president will return home soon after recovering from the injuries.  It may be reminded that Yemeni president was injured in a bomb blast in Sana in a mosque inside the presidential palace on June 03, in capital. He was shifted to Saudi Arabia for treatment. Official sources say that president had minor injuries but, other sources quote that his body was affected to the extent of 40%. However, no picture of president has been released on TV channels or published in any newspaper. Thousands of people demonstrated against Salh in Sana and other cities after he was shifted to Saudi Arabia.  His opponents say Yemeni president is traitor and he must not return back.   .

Israeli Lobby In West Is Propagating Against Pakistan's Nuclear Weapons

Nuclear scientist A.Q. Khan has claimed that the fear of Pakistan's nuclear weapons falling into the hands of terrorists is being spread by the west.   In an email interview to German paper Der Spiegel,
Dr. Khan said that Pakistan was forced to go nuclear in response to Indian tests and political aggression and the deterrence of nuclear weapons lies in the fact that both nations know what the consequences of war would be.
He dismissed accusations of nuclear proliferation and said that there was no such thing as the A.Q.Khan Network. He added that logistics and security at Pakistan's nuclear plant was in the hands of the army and they checked each and every item that came in or left

Indise Help Was Received By Mehran Base Attackers---- Navy Officials

The National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Defence has been briefed by the Navy on the PNS Mehran attack probe, Geo News reported.   According to sources, Navy officials said that four terrorists were involved in the attack and evidence had also been found which indicated that the terrorists were receiving help from inside the base.

Alarbia reports that Iran's semi military force "Alquds" has recruited such individuals who can speak Arabic language. It may be reminded that Iranian president and General Secretary of Hizbullah Hassan Nasrullah has condemned the protests against Basha ru Asad several times. It seems the end of the present govenment in Syria is near as has been the fate of Tunisian and Egyptian presidents.b

Pakistan Is Not "Doing More" Inspite Of US Orders

A senior US military officer said Tuesday Pakistani leaders show no sign they are ready to crack down on Haqqani militants operating from sanctuaries near the Afghan border, despite repeated US requests.
The United States has long demanded Pakistan go after the Haqqani network in North Waziristan that has staged attacks on NATO-led forces in Afghanistan.  But top officers indicated they did not expect any improvement in Islamabad's cooperation and that Pakistan lacked the will and the resources to move against Haqqani militants. "Sir, I don't think it is likely to change," Vice Admiral William McRaven, who oversaw a raid last month by Navy SEALs that killed Osama bin Laden in his Pakistani hideout, told senators.
Referring to talks with Islamabad military leaders, McRaven said "it is both a capacity issue for the Pakistanis and I think potentially a willingness issue."  McRaven, nominated by President Barack Obama to take over US special operations command, said the situation in northwest tribal areas "is difficult for them to deal with."
Lieutenant General John Allen, named as the next commander in Afghanistan, suggested Pakistan was keeping its options open by allowing Haqqani fighters to operate within its borders. "It's a function probably of capacity. But it might also be a function of their hedging, whether they have determined that the United States is going to remain in Afghanistan, whether our strategy will be successful or not," Allen told the Senate Armed Services Committee. "At some point, as we have emphasized to the Pakistanis, we've got to bring pressure to bear on this insurgent safe haven," he said.
Senator Carl Levin, after hearing the officers answer his questions on Pakistan, said Islamabad's approach was unacceptable. "Well, something's got to give, something's got to change," Levin said.
His comments came amid calls from some lawmakers to scale back the billions in US aid for Pakistan due to the presence of extremist safe havens.  Another senator, Lindsey Graham, said it was time Pakistan track down the leader of the Afghan Taliban, Mullah Omar.
McRaven confirmed to Graham that the US military believed Omar was in Pakistan and had asked the country's army to find him.
General Allen also confirmed, when asked by Graham, that roadside bombs used to assault US-led forces were being constructed in Pakistan and that the United States had provided Islamabad with information about the location of bomb-making sites.  Well done Pakistan army ar least USA must know its value that is not the same with the Pakistani leaders and the Pak Army. USA's demand series will never end. Mulla Omar, Haqqani and AlZawahiri all are the responsibility of Pakistan. What the US forces and NATO are doing in Afghanistan. Why do not they search for Mulla Omar and others.?

Bashr Ul Asad In Syria Is Being Isolated Quickly

In Syria the government of Bashrul Asad is heading towards its end quickly. The official defecting from army after refusing to fire on government opposition is increasing day by day. The breaking security wall of army around Asad is observed the symbol of fall of government. An Egyptian expert and a analyst of defense and military affairs Brigadier general (R) Hussain Sohlum says that the defection in army looks like  the most strong weapon (army) of President Asad's is weakening before the mass protests. The result will be the same as has been faced by Qaddafi in Libya. Majority of his army denied to fire on civilians and joined the protesters and this Libyan army is now fighting against Qaddafi. The expert says that if this condition rtemained continued in Syria for some time, then Asad will be left with a few Alvi Shia brigades and and some army battalions that are directly working under the command of his brother general Mahr ul Asad. These include Brigade 4 and President's Special Squad.  The defense analyst says that Asad committed a historical blunder by oredering army to shoot civilians. Israel is occupying the Golan Height for the last 37 years but  it did not fire on civilians with out any solid ground.   .

UAE Sought Unmanned Aerial Vehicle From US----Wikileaks

The UAE was seeking armed Predator drones from the US in 2004, secret US diplomatic cables revealed. Although UAE officials claimed they needed them “to control [the UAE`s] long land and maritime borders”, it is not altogether clear from the cables and can only be speculated why the Emirati authorities needed armed unmanned aircraft and who the real target for such long-range weapons systems might be.
A previously unpublished secret cable dated July 28, 2004 details a meeting in Abu Dhabi between then US CENTCOM commander General John Abizaid and UAE Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed bin Sultan al Nahyan, who also serves as chief of his country`s armed forces. Among discussions of other matters regarding regional security, Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed “reiterated his requirement for an armed Predator UAV [unmanned aerial vehicle]” and “expressed disappointment that US appeared ready to offer only an unarmed version.”The US eventually declined to sell Predators to the UAE, after which the UAE continued to approach other countries for UAV systems. The UAE also set up the “Abu Dhabi UAV Investment Company” in February 2007, and managed to produce its first drone, called Smart Eye, in 2010, which is considered to have a longer range and endurance than even the Predator. Smart Eye is designed to fly 135 hours without refuelling.
Interestingly, the meeting between Sheikh Mohammad and Gen Abizaid also revealed that the UAE already had been using drone technology since the first Gulf War.

A breast Cancer "Wonder Drug" Could Be A Universal Weapon Against Tumours

A breast cancer ‘wonder drug’ could be turned into a universal weapon against tumours, British scientists said.  They have discovered a way of making a family of breast cancer pills effective against other cancers.
The finding could lead to new drugs that shrink many or even all types of tumour, the Newcastle University scientists said.   In addition, side-effects such as nausea and tiredness should be minimal.
The excitement centers on a family of cancer drugs known as PARP inhibitors, which affect the way tumour cells repair themselves.   These target hereditary forms of breast cancer, as well as ovarian prostate cancers and pancreatic tumours with the same rogue gene.
The drugs are of particular interest to doctors because they zero in on the tumour, and kill it without harming healthy cells.
This means patients suffer fewer side effects than they would with chemotherapy or radiotherapy, in which healthy cells are affected.

A Taliban Warlord Defects From Tehreek_e_Taliban

A Taliban warlord who claims to control hundreds of foot soldiers said Monday he had broken with the militia and would form his own anti-American group along the Afghan border.
Fazal Saeed Haqqani described himself as the leader of Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) faction in the tribal district of Kurram, but said he had run out of patience with the network for killing civilians.
TTP has claimed a series of high-profile attacks in the nearly two months since US troops killed Osama bin Laden.
Hinting at a possible a split in country's deadliest militant outfit, blamed for more than 4,500 deaths in attacks since July 2007, Saeed said he had decided to form a new organization,  Tehreek-e-Taliban Islami.
“I repeatedly told the leadership council of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan that they should stop suicide attacks against mosques, markets and other civilian targets,” Saeed told AFP by telephone.
“Islam does not allow killings of innocent civilians in suicide attacks,” he said, likening what TTP does in Pakistan to “what US troops are doing in Afghanistan” and vowing to continue the fight alone against the Americans.  “I have therefore decided to quit TTP,” Saeed said, claiming to have defected along with “hundreds of supporters.” A 10-member consultative council will meet within days to formulate the group’s programme, he told AFP.
Saeed said he was TTP leader in Kurram, one of seven districts in country's tribal belt.
He denied that his defection had anything to do with the government, or Pakistani intelligence and security agencies.

Cockroches Can Be A Cause Of Asthma

A new study in the USA has revealed that the reason of increase in the Asthma in children in some areas of Newyork can be cockroaches. During the study it was observed that in some areas of Newyork the rate of asthma in children was 19 %, it means that one child out of every 5 children is suffering from asthma. while in other areas the disease rate is 3 or less than 3 %.. In the past heavy traffic, smoke from factoriesand other external sources of pollution were considered the causes of the disease. However, now the researchers from Columbia University say that the areas where the rate of asthma in children is high, the proportion of anti-bodies in their blood against the proteins of cockroaches may be doubled. It means that cockroaches are more in their homes ans children are possibly suffering from allergy to cockroaches.. In addition , where there high rate of asthma disease prevails, then  cockroach created allergen will be higher too in their homes in the dust of households. The author of the study Mathew Parzano Viski says that observations of the study reveals that cockroaches can be the reasons of asthma . He added that allergen created by cockroaches is the definite reason of higher rate of asthma in Newyork city and its surrounding areas.     .

Conrad Splits From Her Boyfriend

LAUREN Conrad has split from her boyfriend. The former Hills star and actor Kyle Howard have ended their three-year relationship, though the reasons behind their separation have not been made public.
It seems Lauren has turned to nature in order to keep busy following her split. “Second day in a row I have almost stepped on a snake while hiking,” she wrote on Twitter.
Despite living her life in front of the cameras, Lauren, 25, managed to keep her relationship with the 33-year-old hunk largely out of the spotlight. “By the time I had met Kyle, I had already perfected my ‘double life’. There was my TV life and my real life,” she said earlier this year. –

Aid Ship Bound For Gaza Is To Leave Soon From Greece

Hundreds of activists are preparing to board aid ships bound for Gaza this week in defiance of an Israeli blockade and UN warnings and in spite of the violent end to an operation last year which left nine dead.  About 350 pro-Palestinian supporters hailing from 22 countries are set to join the "Freedom Flotilla" leaving from Greek ports.
Bestselling Swedish crime writer Henning Mankell and many journalists are among those taking part in the action seeking to break a five-year long Israeli naval blockade. Nine Turks died when Israeli forces seized the Mavi Marmara, a ship taking part in the international aid flotilla in May last year.
The raid sparked worldwide condemnation and soured relations between Ankara and Tel-Aviv. Israel said on Thursday it was determined to stop the flotilla, calling the protest a "provocation" and saying the country had a right to self defense.
UN envoy Ron Prosor said: "The flotilla has nothing constructive there is nothing humanitarian or anything that has to do with Palestinian welfare in the organizing of this flotilla." UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and a number of governments have warned the flotilla not to start while the US government has urged its nationals against taking part in the protest.
Israel imposed a blockade on Gaza in 2006 after militants snatched Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit. A ban on civilian goods and foodstuffs was eased last year but many restrictions remain in place. Israel on Sunday also warned foreign journalists not to try to board the boats, as they would be violating a ban and could be barred from the country for up to 10 years.
Boats from Greece, France, Italy and Spain are among those taking part in the flotilla. Ankara said the Mavi Marmara had been withdrawn this year and that there would be no Turkish vessels involved in the operation. The boats will leave from various Greek ports or meet off the coast, said Vaguelis Pissias from the country's "A boat for Gaza" group, without specifying a departure date.
Greece is being used as a departure point due to its geographic position and its "historical, cultural relations with Arab countries," he said. Two cargo boats will carry medicines, a fully-equipped ambulance car and cement. "What happened last year caused us grave concern but we are determined to go to Gaza, our aim is not simply to break the embargo but to show Israelis and people in the region that they have the right to live more harmoniously," said Pissias.
The United States said last week that such flotillas were not needed to funnel humanitarian aid because aid can be delivered to the Israeli port of Ashdod, from where it can be transported to Gaza. "We do not believe that the flotilla is a necessary or useful effort to try to assist the people of Gaza," said US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. "Just this week, the Israeli government approved a significant commitment to housing in Gaza. There will be construction materials entering Gaza. "And we think that it's not helpful for there to be flotillas that try to provoke actions by entering into Israeli waters and creating a situation in which the Israelis have the right to defend themselves," Clinton said.  USA will always favor every wrong doings of Israel.

MQM Quits Sindh Government ---- Truth Or Black mailing?

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has decided to quit from the Pakistan People's Party led governments in centre and Sindh, senior MQM leader Farooq Sattar told the media on Monday.  Sindh Governor Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad Khan would also quit from the office of Governor Sindh, he said.
The longest serving Governor in the history of Pakistan has sent his resignation to President Asif Ali Zardari. Dr. Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan took oath of office of the Sindh Governor on Dec 27, 2002. “The MQM leadership reached the conclusion that it is no longer possible for the party to continue functioning as part of the Pakistan People's Party-led coalition government, keeping in view its undemocratic and dictatorial attitude," he said.
He said PPP was unwilling to mend its ways leaving MQM with no other option but to quit the coalition government, adding that from now on MQM lawmakers in federal and provincial assemblies would sit on opposition benches.  “MQM ministers were powerless and not allowed to work independently,” Farooq Sattar said and added that issues were raised in core committees with the PPP leadership on regular basis but to no avail.
Rehman Malik told MQM to stay away from the Azad Jammu and Kashmir assembly's Karachi seat and even threatened to postpone elections, MQM leader said.
MQM today also filed a petition in the Sindh High Court (SHC) against the deferment of June 26 scheduled Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K) elections for the Karachi seats, which is expected to be placed for hearing tomorrow. Rahman Malik race would again start to convince Farooq Sattar and then would leave for London on the same mission , because PPP needs their support for at least 6 months more. Did MQM realized after enjoying four year government and power ?that present government is undemocratic and has dictatorial attitude. Nice to know that MQM observed and noticed after 4 years, the factual face of PPP.  .

Sugar Does Not Cause Fatening

Food researchers have debunked a newly-released draft Australian Dietary Guidelines that recommends people to limit their intake of foods and drinks containing fats, salt, alcohol and sugar to prevent from weight gain.
According to The Australian, the scientists have claimed that sugar has been unjustly included in the fattening category along with fats and salt. “Unlike saturated fats, trans fats, salt and alcohol, sugar doesn’t actually do any direct harm to the human body,” News.come as. quoted Professor Jennie Brand-Miller, author of The Low GI Diet and recipient this month of an Order of Australia, as telling The Australian.
Consultant dietitian Bill Shrapnel, deputy chairman of the Sydney University Nutrition Research Foundation, also debunks the new draft prepared by a National Health and Medical Research Council working group.
“Sugar has been unfairly demonized in the national dietary guidelines,” Shrapnel said.

A 99-Year Old Man Ended Bachelor Life

A 99-year old man has ended his lifelong holdout and tied the knot for the very first time.
Gilbert Herrick met 86-year-old Virginia Hartman, a widow who raised five children, while living at Monroe Community Hospital near Rochester, New York. Something that hadn't clicked for 98 years finally did.
They tied the knot June 6. Her five children, grandchildren and great grandchildren helped plan. Both are confined to wheelchairs, making their first dance as a couple tricky. They waited for the floor to clear, said Herrick

Pakistan's Budget Benefits Capitalists And Makes The Poor, Poorest

Pakistan is a part of is a minor part of world's capitalism system. In the Pakistan's budget instead of providing any relief to poor masses capitalists have been benefited.  Among the 6.5 billion population of the world some 5 billion people are living below the poverty line.  Last year where 214 billionaires got added to already 1100 billionaires in the world, there 340 million unemployed people increased in the already huge list and number of jobless people reached to 1.75 billion in the world. According to a report of UN 50000 people die daily due to hunger, poverty, famine and shortage of foods in the world. A socialist revolution took place in VEnzuvela 10 years before and government nationalized all the basic, big and industries and handed over the control to laborers and capitalists assets were confiscated.  The country broke all its ties with World Bank And IMF. The result is that the poverty rate before revolution was 25 % that decreased to 5 % now. Literacy rate is 96 %. Valenzuela has neither missiles nor atom bombs.  United States has 30000 war heads and it can diminish the world 300 times. Among the 300 million population of the USA, 60 million people are jobless. Pakistan is an atomic power but it has no electricity production to avoid load shedding.  Pakistan has 2nd big mine of salt in the world, has 5th big coal mine and coal reserves, has 7th bid copper mine in the world.   Canal irrigation system is 2nd to none in the world, Pakistan is 7th world's largest rice producing country, while 8th in producing wheat, inspite of all this people commit suicides due to hunger and poverty in Pakistan.

Rihanna Sued Second Time For Plagiarism

Rihanna has reportedly been sued for a second time over claims that she plagiarised parts of her ‘S&M’ video. The ‘Man Down’ singer is facing a legal challenge from photographer Philipp Paulus for allegedly ‘exploiting’ a series0 of shots from a collection of his dating back to August 2010.
Paulus highlighted one segment in particular from the controversial promo a clip of Rihanna strung up behind a wall of transparent plastic as being directly lifted from one of his pieces, E! Online states. “Why a worldwide celebrity is not able to afford a creative director, who creates individual concepts and stagings, is incomprehensible to me,” Paulus argued. “To create new things within the creative cosmos, you can only expect this to come from a real genius; there is no doubt about that.”
“However, in this case there is no real genius who created their own work; instead they stole ideas from a creative talent.

Diabetes May Be Cured By Weight Loss Surgery

Most obese people with diabetes will be cured of it by weight loss surgery, with gastric bypass surgery allowing more than 80 percent of patients to come off their diabetes medication, according to a study.
The report in Archives of Surgery concerned a review of earlier studies led by Rick Meijer, at the Institute for Cardiovascular Research at Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, who said the findings exceeded what was possible with more conventional diabetes treatments."In standard practice, only a very minor group of individuals with an iron will lose enough weight to be cured from type 2 diabetes mellitus," Meijer said in an email to ealth, referring to the most common type of diabetes.
Meijer and his colleagues pooled data from nine studies of diabetics who underwent either a gastric bypass  which makes the stomach smaller and allows food to bypass part of the small intestine or gastric band surgery, in which the capacity of the stomach is reduced by using an adjustable band.  Eight of the studies included between 23 and 177 patients, while the last one traced 82,000 people. Each followed patients for at least a year.
After gastric bypass, 83 percent of patients could stop taking their diabetes medications, some within days of the surgery. After gastric banding, 62 percent could stop. "Surgery ought to be considered front line therapy for diabetes among obese people," said Jon Gould, who heads the weight loss surgery program at the University of Wisconsin and was not involved in the study.
Meijer said about 90 percent of cases of diabetes are due to excessive weight, though not all diabetics would be eligible for the weight loss surgery.  It's also unclear how long surgery's impact on diabetes can last. One study included in the review found that 10 years after surgery, just one third of people whose diabetes had abated still had good control of their blood sugar.
Surgery of course has the potential for complications that wouldn't occur with drugs.
One study followed patients up to a month after surgery found that 7 percent experienced some problems, mainly minor wound infections. But massive bleeding, kidney failure and other serious complications occurred in more than 2 percent of patients.
Other side effects include nausea and some food intolerance, with some patients also gaining weight back over time.
Gould said the initial cost of the surgery, compared to the extended costs of diabetes care and other health effects of being obese, can be recouped after 18 months to two years. "It would be a huge upfront cost, but looking at this from the bigger picture, I think if we can cure instead of manage the complications, we will save money in the long run,"

National Geographic Explorer

Hollywood filmmaker James Cameron fulfilled a teenage dream Thursday when he was named National Geographic explorer-in-residence, a title that means as much to him as the Oscars he has won for blockbuster movies like Avatar and Titanic.
“Being named an explorer is a great honor and as amazing an outcome as being an Academy Award-winning director,” Cameron told AFP. As a teen, Cameron said, “I could think of nothing better than to be an ocean explorer. In fact, at the age of 16, living landlocked in a small town in Canada, 500 miles (800 kilometers) from the ocean, I got certified to scuba dive,” he said.

Transformation Of Skin Cells Into Neurons Directly

A researcher team of doctors in California said that they had they got success in transformation of skin cells into active neurons directly. The scientists have prepared such cells from  a genetic child that funtion just like neurons.  The technique was primarily tested on mice. A report published in a journal "Nature" scietists can use this success in neurological research. It may help in preparing the neurons for transplanting . Before this new technique, the skin cells were first re-programed to stem cells and after that neurons could be prepared, but in this latest method the skin cells are changed to neurons directly. Assistant professor of Pathology in the Satan ford University School of Medicine in California said that it was known to every one before that a specialized cell could be changed to back to stem cell called ' Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell (iPS). However, no body knew that a specialized cell sent to any other direction instead of sending back. Associate Professor, Jim Hotez of Washington University School of Medicine says that this research is very important. Though it has been tested on mice but there is a possibilty of its suuccess in human beings too.One day would come when these newly prepared neurons could be transplanted in the patients suffering from neurological disease.

Premiers Of Geo "Bol" In Lahore

In a similar vein as when Napoleon Bonaparte said, ‘give me good mothers and I’ll give you a good nation’, Shoaib Mansoor has proved true through “Bol” his own version of this saying, ‘give me a good script and good cast and I’ll give you a great movie’.
Proving to be the biggest event of the year, the premiere of “Bol” was a festival of stars, glitz, glamour and epic achievement at the Cinestar Thursday. Notables from not just the film and fashion industry but all walks of life showed up to witness the exquisite work put together by the team crafting “Bol”. Senator Shafqat Mahmood, Geo TV CEO Mir Ibrahim Rahman, Geo TV President Imran Aslam, eminent journalist and diplomat Maleeha Lodhi, performing arts icon Nighat Chaudhry, renowned poet Wassi Shah, film producer Hassan Askari, filmstar Ghulam Mohiyyudin, pop icon Ali Zafar, TV sensation Umaima and Rashid Khawaja were some of the many who showed up to be the first to watch the much anticipated Geo production.   “Bol”, is set among apparently ordinary characters and is a celebration of innovative movie making which manages to draw all flavors of entertainment, storytelling and a lasting impact of morals and social conduct.
As if unfaded by the culture of fear and conservativeness woven intricately in the present day Pakistani society, Shoaib Mansoor has yet again shown character and perseverance in telling a story that makes a bold social statement against stereotypical pressure groups who believe in imposing their brand of life on others.   Challenging the culture of preconceived judgments about everyday characters, the writer has expressed how titles associated with individuals based on profession and status become insignificant when the test of time is more of an opportunity rather than crisis for those who shine through their humane values.
While character played by every actor in the movie seemed engorged deep within there natural selves, they contributed to the treatment and grip of the movie in a befitting manner. Mahira although a rookie in the world of silver-screen, has surfaced as an exciting prospect and a great find for the industry which is short in supply of such talent.
The movie seeks to fix responsibility of the everyday crisis and the bigger catastrophes of life in a concrete manner yet leaves a lot of judgment to its audience to ponder upon. Promoting freedom of thought and snubbing all ideologies based on tunnel vision, “Bol” assumes a position more than just a movie in the present circumstances and in addition to raising a lot of questions regarding our social norms, it asserts a liability, on all who watch it, of doing our part to create a positive change instead of sitting it out apathetically.

Those Who Oppose The USA Mostly Get Benefits From US

It is strange and astonishing that those people who oppose the USA in Pakistan the most, get benefits from the the states more. The parties taking out procession, protesting, observing strikes, hold sit-ins, and chant against the USA, send their children to the States for education for earning dollars do not feel ashamed of when they speak against USA its policies with the full voice of their vocal cords in the public gathering. A worker of a religious parties that I know as he resides in the same street where I do, every week invites people in the mosque to participate in the processions against drone attacks in Pakistan, returned yesterday from the USA where he was gone along with his wife and daughter to see his son who has been working in the USA for years and do not come to Pakistan. What a contradictions they have in their characters. Similarly, those maulvis who preach about Jehad in mosques never send their kids to jihad, their children are studying in American schools and they want to preach others to join jihad against kafirs. What the contradictory character of maulvis is.
All the maulvis have larger bellies and they can hardly offer prayers because their bellies hinder their way to bow to Allah properly. They would never go to jihad if they consider it necessary. Jihad can never be fought with out its declaration by the state and be in larger favor of the religion.

Cellphone Of Osama's Courier Found Gives Some Clues

A cellphone of Osama bin Laden's trusted courier found in the unilateral U.S. raid in Abbottabad last month that killed the al-Qaeda leader contained contacts to a militant group that allegedly has ties to Pakistan's intelligence agency..
Citing unnamed senior U.S. officials briefed on the findings, the a newspaper reported that the discovery indicated that bin Laden used the group, Harakat-ul-Mujahedeen, as part of his support network inside Pakistan.
The cell phone belonged to bin Laden's courier, who was killed along with the al Qaeda leader in the May 2 raid by U.S. special forces on bin Laden's compound.
A CIA spokeswoman had no immediate comment on the report.
In tracing calls on the cell phone, U.S. analysts determined that Harakat commanders had called Pakistani intelligence officials, it was  reported, citing the senior American officials.
The officials added the contacts were not necessarily about bin Laden and his protection and that there was no "smoking gun" showing that Pakistan's spy agency had protected bin Laden, it was said in the report.
In the reported that quoted one of the officials as saying the cell phone analysis was a "serious lead" in the hunt for answers about how bin Laden managed to evade notice by Pakistan's spy agency or military for years in the town. “It’s a serious lead,” one American official, who has been briefed in broad terms on the cellphone analysis, was quoted as saying. “It’s an avenue we’re investigating.”
Quoted analysts familiar with Harakat as saying it had deep roots in the area around Abbottabad. Its leaders have strong ties with both al Qaeda and Pakistani intelligence., it was reported.
“It’s a serious lead,” said one American official, who has been briefed in broad terms on the cellphone analysis. “It’s an avenue we’re investigating.”

The Fraud Dialogues Of India Every Time

Indian foreign secretary Nirupama Rao is again on 2 day visit to Pakistan to give some "feed" to Pakistani leaders and to deceive the world for India's willingness to solve the decades delayed issues specially of Kashmir. But, all of Indian leaders and its prime minister reiterate several times Kashmir as the "Ut toot Ang" unbreakable part of India. Kashmir can never be handed over to Pakistan by presenting in a plate. Pakistani leaders have already forgotten the issue , but Ministry of Kashmir Affairs is kept alive to appoint Maula Fazal ur Rahman as its head.. This was Quade and Iqbal's Visionary sights that Britain agreed to give Muslims their own homeland, though these leaders who own Pakistan now , the Congress Maulans were not in favor of separate land. If these Maulanas were in Joint India then they would have known their status . They can ask the Indian Muslims, who can not sacrifice on Eids who can not take out Milad Procession though they more in population than Pakistan's. The present dialogues will decide to continue like this during next meetings. May be Foreign Misiters may resume the talks again and decide to continue the same type of talks in future..

Community Of Un-Contacted Tribe Pinpointed In Amazon Rain-forest In Brazil

Brazilian authorities say they have pinpointed the location of a community of ancient and uncontacted tribespeople in one of the remotest corners of the Amazon rain-forest.
Fabricio Amorim, a regional co-ordinator for Brazil's indigenous foundation, Funai, said the indigenous community had been found after three small forest clearings were detected on satellite images. Flyovers were carried out in April, confirming the community's existence.
Four straw-roofed huts, flanked by banana trees and encircled by thick jungle, can be seen in photographs taken during the flyover.  The community is likely to be home to about 200 people, probably from the Pano linguistic group which straddles the border between Brazil, Peru and Bolivia, according to Funai.
Amorim said the region , known as the Vale do Javari contained "the greatest concentration of isolated groups in the Amazon and the world" but warned of growing threats to their survival.  Officially, Funai recognizes the existence of 14 uncontacted tribes in the Vale do Javari, making up a total of at least 2,000 people. But that number is likely to rise as expeditions to this region of the western Amazon continue.
Government officials currently seek to avoid direct contact with Brazil's uncontacted tribes, instead working to identify and protect their lands from afar. But many believe limited contact may become necessary in order to protect the groups from external threats.

Revenue Officials To Investigate Corruption Allegations Against Former Indian Cheif Justice

India's home ministry has ordered revenue officials to investigate allegations of corruption leveled against a former Supreme Court chief justice, a report said Wednesday.
The ministry has called for a probe into the assets of K.G. Balakrishnan, who was India's highest ranked judge for more than three years from 2007 and currently heads the National Human Rights Commission.  The ministry's order followed a petition which alleged Balakrishnan had "acquired assets disproportionate to his known sources of income," the news agency said, citing unnamed home ministry officials. "The petition with allegations has been sent to the secretary (of the) revenue department for inquiry," PTI said.
The home ministry's official spokesman was not immediately available for comment on the report.A string of corruption scandals has dented the image of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's Congress party-led government and fomented outrage across Indian society at the apparent scale of graft by officials going unpunished.
The government has offered to draft an anti-graft bill in consultation with civil society activists who are pushing for tough provisions to punish corrupt bureaucrats, members of the judiciary and politicians.  India has a dismal record of bringing corrupt senior public officials to justice, with current laws requiring the government's approval before any sitting bureaucrat or minister can be prosecuted.
In six decades only one senior politician has been convicted of graft and served a jail term.

The Dirty Politics Of Pakistan

The politics in Pakistan has never been fair. Elections are won on the bases of caste, brotherhood, personalities , and usually are purchased. Some occurrences of  pre-decided results are announced. The two leaders of larger parties who take power in hands turn by turn are now a days  engaged in throwing stones of abuses, blames, nasty languages. shameful slogans against each other. This they are doing to gain favor in Kashmir elections. But what they are showing exclusively now a days, though they usually do so, does not match the personalities of a head of state and other being  two times the head of government. They would never present ant solid and common-man based manifesto to the public, because they do have this sort of slotion to the public's problems. The champions of so-called democracy have never implemented democracy in their parties. The party leadership is inherited and is the characteristics of all the parties except Jamat e Islami. The leaders would never give the solution of the problems the people are facing today. Do not they know, the menace of terrorism that nation is in the grip of, load shedding of gas and electricity due to which investment has stopped and factories got closed, price-hike due to which poor people are committing suicides, target-killing, street crimes, unemployment, enemies around us who are attacking, ruining and destroying our sovereignty, enemies in side and outside the country?. Are they unaware of the national problems and issues? For the solution of all this-- is the occupation of chair necessary? Imran Khan is at the top of popularity this time according to   Research Poll with 68 % score. Because he is doing what he can at least showing his sentiments where others are quarrellings with each other openly and throwing down the problems of nation aside.

Modonna Has Ended Her Latest Romance With 24-Year Brahim Zaibat

The singer, who has built her career on an ever-changing image, seems to have settled on a new one: bare-faced woman in her fifties. With almost no make-up, her hair scraped to one side and smiling broadly, she set off from New York on a flight to London.
And in contrast to many of her recent appearances, where she looked almost frighteningly youthful, this time Madonna looked a little closer to what she is a well preserved 52-year-old mother of four.
The fine wrinkles around her eyes were more evident than usual, possibly due to the fact that she was wearing so little make-up. And she was travelling with her two lively boys, David, six, and ten-year-old Rocco, which may have left her feeling frazzled before she even took off.
She maintains her lithe figure with a rigorous daily exercise routine, which lasts up to two hours, and a strict macrobiotic diet. No doubt keeping up with her brood of four children helps keep her trim as well. After finishing work on her movie W.E., which reprises the story of Wallis Simpson and is due for release some time this year, Madonna is said to have gone into the studios to record what will be her 12th album. Maybe she has had more time to concentrate on her career recently. She is said to have ended her latest romance – with 24-year-old hip-hop dancer Brahim Zaibat.

The Beginning Of End Of War In Afghanistan Declared By Obama

President Barack Obama Wednesday ordered all 33,000 US surge troops home from Afghanistan by next summer and declared the beginning of the end of the war, vowing to turn to nation building at home. In a watershed moment for American foreign policy, Obama also significantly curtailed US war aims, saying Washington would no longer try to build a "perfect" Afghanistan from a nation traumatized by its blood soaked history.  "Tonight, we take comfort in knowing that the tide of war is receding," Obama said in 13-minute primetime speech at a time of rising fatigue over costly foreign wars among Americans ground down by deep economic insecurity.  "Even as there will be dark days ahead in Afghanistan, the light of a secure peace can be seen in the distance. These long wars will come to a responsible end," Obama said.
The president argued US forces had made large strides towards the objectives of the troop surge strategy he ordered in December 2009 by reversing Taliban momentum, crushing Al-Qaeda and training new Afghan forces. But he ultimately rejected appeals from the Pentagon for a slower drawdown to safeguard gains against the Taliban and his decision will be seen as a political defeat for talismanic war General David Petraeus.
The president said he would, as promised, begin the US withdrawal this July and that 10,000 of the more than 30,000 troops he committed to the escalation of the conflict would be home this year. A further 23,000 surge troops will be withdrawn by next summer, and more yet-to-be announced draw downs will continue, until Afghan forces assume security responsibility in 2014. "This is the beginning, but not the end  of our effort to wind down this war," Obama said. More than 1,600 US soldiers have died in Afghanistan since the US invasion after the September 11, 2001 attacks. The US death toll already this year stands at 187.

The president's speech came as domestic questions mount over the purpose of the Afghan war, following the killing of Al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden by Navy SEALs last month, and as Washington backs fragile Afghan reconciliation talks with the Taliban.
But despite the drawdowns, there will still be more than 65,000 troops in Afghanistan when Obama asks Americans to give him a second term in November 2012.
Turning to Al-Qaeda, Obama said documents seized from bin Laden's compound in Pakistan showed the organization was under "enormous strain." "Bin Laden expressed concern that Al-Qaeda has been unable to effectively replace senior terrorists that have been killed, and that Al-Qaeda has failed in its effort to portray America as a nation at war with Islam  thereby draining more widespread support," he said.
Obama also placed the Afghan mission in the context of his wider foreign policy and war strategy, arguing he has drawn down 100,000 troops from Iraq and will oversee the full withdrawal by the end of this year.
He announced a NATO summit to review progress on Afghanistan will take place in Chicago in May 2012, alongside the G8 summit of industrialized nations.

Four Majors Are Also Being Interrogated Along With Brigadier

DG ISPR Major General Athar Abbas has said that four Majors were being investigated along with Brigadier Ali Khan for their alleged links with a banned organization  .
In a radio interview, Major General Athar Abbas said that Brigadier  Ali Khan had links with banned organisation Hizbul Tehrir and was involved in illegal activities which were against Army discipline.   Brigadier Ali is currently detained and being interrogated. He dismissed reports that a large number of soldiers were in contact with militants or had links with banned organizations. However, he added that in an institution, as large as the army, presence of such individuals could not be immediately dismissed.
Answering a question about the Abbottabad raid and the attack on PNS Mehran, Major General Athar Abbas said many inefficiencies had surfaced following these incidents. He said that there were many reasons behind these incidents and inter-departmental inquiries had been conducted in this regard.
Many issues had come before the people and many were being investigated. He said the army wanted to bring forward all information and did not want to hide anything. The nation should however understand that it cannot be informed of all issues relating national security because it would cause harm to the people and be beneficial to enemies, he added.

Marvi Memon Resigns From NA And From PML (Q)

Marvi Memon has resigned from her seat in the National Assembly and from the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q).
Speaking to the media, Marvi Memon said that she took the decision in protest of the PML-Q joining the government and in opposition of the budget which was against the aspirations of the people of Pakistan.
She added that current government was working against the people of Pakistan and the PML-Q leaders did not live up to the voters by leaving the opposition and joining the government. "The PML-Q did not correct the disastrous course of the government," she said.
The statement read out by Marvi Memon listed the government as being inadequate, not serving the people, not responding to natural disasters, not protecting the country's sovereignty and depriving people of basic human rights.
Marvi Memon added that under these circumstances she could no longer be a member of the National Assembly and that she would not take back her resignations under any circumstance. She however did say that her struggle for justice would continue on the streets and in courts.
Marvi said she tried to prevail upon the party leaders to change their decision, but in vain. She said under the circumstances there was no other option left with her except resignation on the occasion of voting for budget, as she said abstaining from the budget vote will be equivalent to approving it. She said she has no intentions for joining any other party.

World's Fastest Supercomputer Created By Japan

A Japanese supercomputer has snatched the title of the world's fastest machine, ending China's brief reign at the top after six months.
The K supercomputer, built by the Fujitsu Company, is as fast as one million desktop computers connected together. It has more than three times the power than the previous title-holder and is capable of performing eight quadrillion calculations each second
A quadrillion is one followed by 15 zeroes and in computer jargon the speed is known as 8.2 petaflops.  The previous fastest machine was the Chinese computer Tianhe-1A, which was clocked at 2.507 petaflops and highlighted the emergence of China's growing technological and economic power.
The Tianhe- 1A machine was the first time China had topped the speed list, wrestling the title from the U.S. who had four of the top ten supercomputers

Ialamists Again Succeeeded In Turkey

The Turkish prime minister Tayyab Urdgan 's party Justice party has got success for the third time in the elections securing 50.3 % of the votes.  In this way this party is near to the success that islamist prime minister Adnan Madrees got  during the last century. Secular parties are afraid of his success. They are right but people like the steps taken by the prime minister during last two terms for the welfare of his people. When justice party came into power the economic condition was in worst position.  During 2002, the price hike was 45.60 %. Justice party immediately took steps for the relief of the people and his efforts were fruitful that next year the price rate came down to 25 %. But government did not stop here it continuously struggled against the price hike and brought it to 9 % in 2004.  Today under the leader ship of Tayyab Urdgan , the Turkish society is totally changed. It can be observed in the report of Pure Research Center that during 2002, only 45 % of the Turks were in favor of Islam and religious in politics , this rate  has risen to 62 % in 2006 while in 2010 it was 69 %.While the rate of those who did not want any character of Islam in politics decreased from 44 % in 2002 to 19 % in 2010.  However, for making amendments in constitution the ruiling party will have to gain the favor of opposition. However, people of Turkey like the policies of the present government that made Turkey a super power of the Islamic World.  Turkish government has taken steps for the assistance and help of Palestinians through opening the  Rafah border.

Army Official Having Links With Hizbul Tehrir Is Being Probed

A brigadier of Pakistan Army appointed at General Headquarters was arrested apparently on the charges of having links with a banned militant outfit.
Brigadier Ali Khan, who was appointed at the Regulation Directorate in GHQ back in May 2009, came under the surveillance radar of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and Military Intelligence (MI) earlier this year, according to sources.
Reportedly, after almost six months of surveillance, the ISI and MI in a joint operation, picked up the brigadier from outside his residence on May 6. The intelligence authorities reportedly ran a check on him after some ‘suspicious’ people were found frequently visiting his home. The call records of Khan’s cell phone confirmed the suspicions of intelligence agencies. Sources said Brigadier Ali Khan was linked to the section of militants that had direct ties with the Central Investigation Agency (CIA) and the military intelligence agencies arrested him to probe this connection. The ISPR only confirmed Ali Khan’s arrest but refused to provide further details. Confirming the arrest, ISPR Director General Major General Athar Abbass said the news was not made public earlier due to pending investigations against the brigadier. Abbas said the brigadier was linked to Hizbul Tahrir, a militant organization banned by former president Pervez Musharraf in 2003. He said the investigations were at early stages and it was premature to comment any further. He denied any racket of senior military officers having links with militants.
Earlier, talking to a private television channel, Abbas had said Hizbul Tahrir was linked to England, which, according to sources, was a hint at the possible nexus between militants, CIA and officers like Ali Khan. The ISPR DG said no other arrests were made.
The brigadier was reportedly going to retire from his duties at Pakistan Army next month. It is also being probed how a brigadier having linkages with militants got appointed Regulation Directorate, an important military branch that primarily deals with recruitments and human resource issues. Hizbul Tahrir is the same organisation that sends hand-outs and parcels to almost all the journalists of mainstream national media instigating the journalist community to declare ‘Jihad’ against the foreign powers, Pakistani government and Pakistan Army.

Saliva In The Mouth Saves Teeth From Diseases

We usually consider the saliva in mouth a useless thing, but nature has created nothing useless.  The saliva created in the mouth is necessary because it contains minerals, calcium and phosphorous abundantly that maintains the shine of the teethand neutralizes the acids that are created by bacteria and sugar. However, saliva is decreased in the mouth if we suffer from dehydration. Taking some medicines, vomiting, or some abnormality in the stomach cause low production of saliva and mouth gets dried. To keep mouth wet the following minor things may be taken care of:-  Drink more and more water it wets the mouth and weakens mucous. Eat foods that can be chewed, sugar free chewing gum, hard cheese and raw vegetables can be taken that increase flow of saliva. Doctors may suggest tropical gels or some typical tooth pastes.
What Not to Do:-  Avoid smoking or alcohol,  beverages containing caffeine, and spicy foods. All these make the mouth dry. Respiring through mouth also causes this.

Superheroes Worst Movies

For all the enduring superhero movies that have been made over the years - "The Dark Knight," the original Christopher Reeve "Superman," Tobey Maguire's first two turns as "Spider-Man" - there are just as many that don't exactly live up to their own mythology or the expectations of their legions of followers.
This week's "Green Lantern," starring Ryan Reynolds as the reluctant new member of an intergalactic peacekeeping corps, would fall squarely into the latter category. It's just a muddled, joyless bore. But it gives us a great chance to compile an ignominious list of superhero movies that are less than super:

• "Catwoman" (2004): So few films in the genre are about female do-gooders - it's usually the job of the women in these movies to look pretty in peril and wait around for the men in tights to save them - which is why it was such a bummer that this was a laughable disaster. Halle Berry is indeed a sight to behold in her Catwoman get-up, and you've gotta love the fact that she had enough of a sense of humor to show up at the Razzie Award ceremony to pick up her worst-actress prize. (It also "won" for worst picture, worst director and worst screenplay.) But Berry's jaw-dropping good looks alone can't save this, and since all the scenes in which she kicks butt and leaps about with feline agility are sped-up, you don't get to ogle her for long anyway. This is cinema for the attention span-challenged, but the most egregious sin of all for an action movie: It's mind-numbingly boring.

• "Daredevil" (2003): This was a rough year for Ben Affleck. Besides this slick and formulaic adaptation of the Marvel Comic, in which Affleck played the blind lawyer-crimefighter Matt Murdock, he also starred in the notorious turkey "Gigli" and the John Woo thriller "Paycheck," all of which earned him Razzies for worst actor of the year. To be fair, he was an easy target at this point in his career, when he was half of the tabloid sensation "Bennifer" with then-fiancee and "Gigli" co-star Jennifer Lopez. Still, "Daredevil" stands on its own two feet for its failures. The character is flawed and tormented, not at all the good guy he'd seem to be on the surface, which might have been intriguing if Affleck hadn't played him so stiffly. "Daredevil" also has the dubious distinction of spinning off 2005's "Elektra," starring the current Mrs. Affleck, Jennifer Garner. Both have bounced back nicely from their superhero period.

• "Batman & Robin" (1997): Nipples in the bat suit. This is pretty much all you need to know, and it's completely reflective of Joel Schumacher's campy style. Even George Clooney, who was only a few years away from approaching the height of his power, could not salvage this flashy, soulless mess. The steam has clearly run out in this, the fourth film in the franchise (and we're a long way at the point from Christopher Nolan's masterful re-envisioning of The Caped Crusader). Arnold Schwarzenegger cheeses it up big time (even by his standards) as the villainous Mr. Freeze, and Uma Thurman never generates much heat as the toxic Poison Ivy. Full of glib pop-culture references and gimmicky gadgets, this version worked hard to be silly and fun, and never revealed an understanding of Batman's true nature.

• "Hulk" (2003): This would be Ang Lee's "Hulk" starring Eric Bana, not to be confused with Louis Leterrier's 2008 "The Incredible Hulk" starring Edward Norton, which was actually fun and action-packed. Nobody's career was permanently damaged by this; everyone turned out fine afterward. Lee went on to win the best-director Oscar for "Brokeback Mountain," Bana starred in the gripping "Munich," and co-star Jennifer Connelly went on to do excellent work in films including "House of Sand and Fog." But man, at the time, this was just a self-serious drag: somber and introspective, with none of the zippy escape you'd like to see in a summer blockbuster based on a comic book. You'd want to see Bruce Banner when he's angry, just because it would be a refreshing change from watching him brood.

• "Spider-Man 3" (2007): This would have felt like a bloated behemoth on its own. The fact that two thrilling and imaginative films preceded it - with "Spider-Man 2" emerging as a rare sequel that surpasses the original - made it feel like even more of a letdown. Director and co-writer Sam Raimi overloads us with more villains, more supporting characters and more plot lines spread out across more time. People and threats come and go, and the narrative feels scattered. Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) must battle human foes Flint Marko (Thomas Haden Church) and Eddie Brock (Topher Grace) but also their alter egos, the Sandman and Venom. He's still at odds with old best pal Harry (James Franco) as well as Harry's souped-up super self, the New Goblin. And Peter, as Spider-Man, must fight his own dark urges when a pesky black goop from outer space attaches itself onto him of all people, what are the odds?.

US President Will Announce Plan Of Withdrawal Of Troops From Afghanistan

US President Barack Obama will lay out the size of his planned drawdown of US troops in Afghanistan on Wednesday, in an announcement likely to map out an endgame for a bloody and costly 10-year war.
"The Afghanistan speech will be on Wednesday," a US official said on condition of anonymity, as Obama moved close to a final decision on the scope and size of withdrawals due to start in July.
A second official also confirmed that Obama would reveal his intentions on Wednesday, after weeks of consultations with top security and diplomatic aides on progress in the war and the future size of the US force.

Maintenace Of Network Is More Expensive Than Bomb Blasts For Taliban

The International institution that monitors illegal money laundering in the world, Financial Action Task Force reports that bomb blast do not cost much to Taliban as expensive are their networks to be maintained and funtion properly. For example the expenditure incurred on bomb attacks at London Transport System in July 2005 was only $ 12000. While, bomb blasts in Bali Island of Indonesia were worth $ 50000. Similarly, experts say that the 9/11 incident would have not cost more than $ 0 .5 million that changed the world totally. The actual expenses these groups have, are for maintaining  their networks and keeping them active all the time. They spend money on paying salaries to the members, to bear their daily expenditure, to extend financial assistance to their families, if needed, to the newly recruited members, and for the traveling, stay and foods when they proceed on missions.   So the fighters and terrorists have to incur millions of expenses on keeping their networks functioning. These organization collect contributions from the people of same same ideologies, traders, companies, industrialists. They kidnap people for ransom. They sell drugs, arms, commit looting of banks and other illegal sources to collect money to fulfil their aims. They transfer money through hundies (private trustworthy people)..

Taiwan Magician Alive After 100 Hour Burial

A Taiwan magician who had himself buried alive under tonnes of dirt, leaving only his hand free, successfully reached his goal of enduring for 100 hours despite an apparent panic attack only three hours after beginning.
The young man, known only by his stage name of "Igo," entered a phone booth on Sunday night and was covered with 3.6 tonnes of dirt.  His life was sustained by a breathing tube, which members of his performance troupe also used to give him water every two hours, and sensors were attached to his body to monitor physical responses such as body temperature and heart rate. An alarm was set to sound if any of these indicated danger.
One hand stuck out from the tank, which was set outdoors, allowing Igo to write on a drawing pad to communicate with the outside world and to shake the hand of well-wishers. "This hand can interact with people and also provides us with important messages," said Chang Chia-lun, the art director of Igo's Mirror Theater Troupe, during the four day ordeal. "If he gestures with the pinky, then the plan will be immediately terminated to release him. But he has not given us the sign so far.
"A hammer was at hand to break the acrylic walls of the phone booth if needed."  Chang said things had reached a critical point just three hours after the ordeal began, when Igo's heart rate surged to 220 beats an hour. But within thirty minutes, he calmed down.
More than 10,000 visitors shook Igo's hand, which protruded from a hole in the booth, and took photographs standing beside it. Others sent gifts and flowers. "Hot. Holding on until completion of the challenge," Igo wrote at one point. Temperatures rose as high as 28 C.
Not everybody was impressed, though. "I don't think this is a good presentation, and I don't even think this is magic. It is just a human body challenge," said Erica Chen, a 30-year-old designer.
Five hours before it ended, the sensors detached due to heavy rain, forcing his friends to monitor his condition by watching his hand.  As the clock ticked down to the final second on Thursday evening, men began to dig down from the top of the booth.
A grimy Igo, supported by assistants, finally staggered from the booth, thanked the crowd in a weak voice, and went off to hospital in a pre-arranged ambulance.
The stunt, Chang said, was not just a physical challenge but also a reminder to love the earth while reflecting on recent disasters around the world.

A Group Of Americans Joining Flotilla

A group of Americans activists is joining a flotilla of ships carrying humanitarian aid for Palestinians languishing in the Israeli-blockaded Gaza.
Nearly half of the 36 Americans who will sail on the US flagged boat "The Audacity of Hope" attended a Monday news conference announcing they are flying later in the day to Athens to prepare for the journey.
Activists describe Israeli restrictions on Gaza's 1.5 million residents as a human rights violation. But Israel claims its blockade stops weapons from reaching militants in the Palestinian territory.
On Monday, the Americans appealed to the United Nations and the United States to prevail upon the Israeli authorities not to attack the aid ships as the Israel has done in the past saying they have no malafide intentions except to provide humanitarian aid to the “helpless” Palestinians living in the occupied territory. They criticized the US lawmakers on Capitol hill of being "prisoners of the Israeli lobby."
