Dying Languages In The World

According to a careful survey 5000 languages are being spoken in the world at present. Among these 99 % of the languages are spoken in Asia, Africa, Atlantic Ocean region, North and South America.   Only one percent of the languages are in the Europe.  In Nigeria only 400 languages are spoken.  Similarly, 672 languages belong to Pak-India sub-continent while  The region of Central America has 260 languages. All these languages present a colorful pictire of the world.  This colorful wealth of languages not only help in preserving the vast values of the speakers of the languages but gives newer ideas and views to to the world languages in the form of exchange of words. But from  the last few decades some languages are extincting like some species of birds and animal from the world. Due to globalization and adapting the western civilization  deliberately or imposed by the west , the existence of all other languages except only 110 big and widely spoken languages is in danger. The cultures and civilizations and traditions related to the languages are also falling due to the elimination of the languages. It seems that some languages will remain in pages of history.
